I think it’s funny that you so readily dismiss the groundbreaking work of a leading FEMALE sociologist from the University of Chicago and Harvard, simply because the link comes from a white man, and also because it’s 20 yrs old. By your logic, let’s dismiss Einstein and Newton, hell, let’s dismiss everything that is pre iPhone because it’s over 10 years old, and there were white men involved.
