I think there is definitely a lot of relevance to the feel-good/motivational content created by a number of “influencers,” however I agree that it does tend to dismiss the plight of people who really cannot change their situation. If you have a profile on LinkedIn, it’s probably because you have a career of some sort, attended college, or both, and so immediately there is a potential for mobility that most people simply do that have. Visit the trailer parks of the Southern or Midwest USA and tell me how many of those people are on LinkedIn.
