The last part of your article I disagree with. I think that Fox does create racism, because it charges people on their fears. Should those fears never have been realized, then racism would not have emerged. The potential was there, but the real world would not have shown these people their deepest fears, but Fox News does, despite reality being against them, and so we are left with people reacting to realizing their fear. I’m afraid of falling from a building, but I live my life day to day because it’s not common and never in my reality. But if all of sudden TV started to tell me 30% of balcony goers were falling to their doom, I’d never go on a balcony again.
