Yes, another constitutional convention might be good, with the 13 original colonies + CA, OR and WA. That would make for an interesting conversation. I think the hope comes from the reality that ultimately people are in charge; without legitimacy, there is no federal system. If everyone agreed that the system was broken, therefore stopped participating in it (and depending on it) then it would cease to have any power. It’s hard to imagine, but the dissolving of the union might not be too far off. The only thing it would seem that all states agree upon right now is that the federal system does not properly represent them.
